Hi - I’m Karon, florist, flower grower, and founder of Meadows & Mulberry Weddings. I’ve been designing wedding flowers since 2016, and before that, I was a school Director of Sport at Durham High School - an experience that shaped my approach to planning, organisation, and teamwork. These skills now underpin every wedding I work on, ensuring your floral designs are executed seamlessly, calmly, and beautifully, from first consultation to your wedding day.

My Journey

Floristry became my way of blending creativity, nature, and precision. I love designing flowers that feel personal and meaningful while bringing the calm, organised approach my previous career taught me. Each wedding is unique, and I aim to create flowers that not only look beautiful on the day but also evoke memories for years to come.

My Floral Philosophy

I specialise in seasonal wedding flowers -fresh and dried - grown in my cutting garden or sourced from trusted local flower farmers. Sustainability is at the heart of what I do: I never use floral foam or single-use plastics. My goal is to craft designs that feel natural, fragrant, and full of life, reflecting your style, personality, and the atmosphere of your venue.

Whether you have a clear vision or need guidance to tease your ideas into life, I work collaboratively to create bouquets, personal flowers, venue styling, and installations tailored to your wedding day.

Awards & Recognition

I’m honoured to have been named Wedding Florist of the Year for Yorkshire & the North East in 2023 and 2025, and I’ll be attending the National Finals in London. These awards recognise the care, creativity, and personal touch I bring to every couple I work with.
